{"id":2342,"date":"2025-04-06T16:51:55","date_gmt":"2025-04-06T14:51:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/emptystands.me\/?p=2342"},"modified":"2026-01-13T21:08:17","modified_gmt":"2026-01-13T20:08:17","slug":"awareness-matchday-in-babelsberg","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/emptystands.me\/en\/2025\/04\/06\/awareness-matchday-in-babelsberg\/","title":{"rendered":"Awareness Matchday in Babelsberg"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On April 5, 2025, our action matchday took place during <a href=\"https:\/\/www.babelsberg03.de\/home\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.babelsberg03.de\/home\">SV Babelsberg 03\u2019s<\/a> home game against <a href=\"https:\/\/viktoria.berlin\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/viktoria.berlin\/\">Viktoria Berlin<\/a>, where fans and the club impressively demonstrated that solidarity and visibility have their place in the football stadium as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">FI99 supported us with banners that read: \u201cGiving the illness a face\u201d and \u201cFight ME\/CFS.\u201d Engagement was also palpable off the pitch \u2013 with an information stand on the stadium grounds where visitors could donate to the <a href=\"https:\/\/mecfs-research.org\/lemonchallengemecfs\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/mecfs-research.org\/lemonchallengemecfs\/\">ME\/CFS Research Foundation<\/a> and take part in the <a href=\"https:\/\/mecfs-research.org\/lemonchallengemecfs\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/mecfs-research.org\/lemonchallengemecfs\/\">#LemonChallengeMECFS<\/a>. Before the game, players from 03 had already participated on social media and nominated <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fcstpauli.com\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.fcstpauli.com\/\">FC St. Pauli<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.turbine-potsdam.de\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.turbine-potsdam.de\/\">1. FFC Turbine Potsdam<\/a>, and the band <a href=\"https:\/\/kettcar.net\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/kettcar.net\/\">Kettcar<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We thank everyone involved on and behind the scenes \u2013 SV Babelsberg 03, FI99, Azv03 (the inclusion initiative of 03 fans), and all volunteers.
